This is a list of some music I like to play. Which Friedman Amp Would Be Best suited? BE100, Phil X, some other?

Judas Priest Victim Of Changes, The Green Manalishi

Dio We Rock, Don't Talk To Strangers, The Last In Line, Holy Diver, Rainbow In The Dark

Ozzy - Bark At The Moon, Shot In The Dark

Skid Row 18 In Life

Crue Shout At The Devil

Dokken/Lynch

A straight BE100 will get you there. Plus, you'll get a really nice clean channel to switch to.

small box will work to if you want smaller package or combo. Plus the clean ch is really great!

My BE100 absolutely can do them along with many others and whats amazing is that it can also do Blues, Jazz & finger style Classical, very inspiring.

It's time to buy smaller replacement for my modded Marshall JCM 800 2203. I need an amp for small gigs and home practice. I was thinking of buying Marshall Mini Jubilee 2525h, but then seen Friedman 20W amps and now I can't decide which one to but. I'd like an amp with hot-rodded plexi sound similar to Marshall AFD/SIR #39 mod sound, but on the other side versatile enough to produce higher and lower gain sounds. I'd like to use it for sounds like ACDC, ZZ top, GNR, Iron Maiden, Metallica and if possible even cleaner like Jimi Hendrix. I love sound samples of Pink Taco, but just can't find a good review of Pink Taco with 3way gain switch.

Is Pink Taco versatile enough to cover all above mentioned sounds? Would it clean enough to get kind of Jimi sound loud enough for smaller gig? Should I check Runt 20 rather than Pink Taco for versatile? I guess Mini Dirty Shirley doesn't have the sound to cover GNR, Maiden and Metallica, but would be OK for Jimi?

I am also big David Gilmour fan and I use separate rig for Gilmour sounds (Hiwatt and large pedal board with Ram's head, Tube driver, Electric Mistress, compressors, delays,..). If dirty channel on Runt 20 can cover ACDC, ZZ top, GNR, Iron Maiden, Metallica, can clean channel work well enough to cover Jimi and Gilmour with effects and I will be able to shrink my 2 rigs into only one which would cover sounds of all mentioned bands above?

I know that it would be the best to try all of them with and without pedalboard and with all my guitars, but unfortunately closest shop which have Friedman in stock is app 600km away...

Any info would be highly apppreciated...

I would think a Runt is a safe bet (I own all three). It's the most gig friendly mini. Both channels are very good and can cover all of that. The PT & DSM are awesome, but they won't do the Clean clean (you could run the DSM clean and use a pedal - but who wants to do that). They are great at riding the volume knob and clean up really well, but not like what I think you would want to do a pristine Glimore delay.
The DSM has more gain than you think, and a big fat low end that is just perfect.

Thanks for info.

How loud is clean on Runt20? Can it be set to bedroom level?
I've heard from a guy who has 50 watter that clean is so loud he has it on 1 when rehearsing with band and they are quite noisy band.
According to him drive volume is not a problem, but clean on Runt50 is really to loud.
