I would look at the Ceriatone JCM51 and boost it with an SD1. 1350 plus shipping. They just released a demo on their YouTube channel

If you want Jeremy to mod you a Marshall you better get on it quick. Word on the street is that he won’t be doing them much longer and will only be selling his ground up builds from then on.

Seems like that's the way it goes :-/
The Monomyth Skeleton Key was the one thing that made me not regret selling my monomyth modded 1974 superlead. I imagine the same will go for Ground Zero. I think most guys start with doing mods but end up making so many changes that it ends up making more sense and ends up better results just to do the build from the ground up.

Everyone has different taste that's why we have the Friedmans, splawns, bogner etc. I don't think any of these guys put out something they don't like it's just their flavor. I look at it like cooking a steak. We all have OUR way of cooking them. You can get great steaks from other people but we tend to prefer our recipe(at least for me)

What did you do to get banned?

I think it’s going to be kind of hard for him to answer

I considered using the word "he" instead of "you" but figured a.) it is probably not a perma ban so he'll be back in a few days and b.) I wouldn't get an answer from anyone else anyway :D

So I've been experimenting with some pedals in the high and low inputs and I'm liking what I hear.

I have an early 80s sd1 and an od808 set up with level up and gain down into the high input. Then thru the low input a Carl Martin plexitone that sounds closer to the tone I'm after...

This might do for now but still think I'd like to try out some modded stuff at some point as well, even if just to have something different that I can plug straight into.

My favorite tones are basically as follows:
70s - Alex Lifeson 2112 era, Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy
80s - WASP, Dokken, Accept, Iron maiden, Zach Wylde
90s - Jerry Cantrell
and some early thrash metal, which was kinda all over the place. lol

I can vouch for Jason’s work at Headfirst - the man knows how to build a great amp. The Ground Zero Hellion also sounds immense.
