Unfortunatley I sold all of them. I had kept the best example for myself whcih was an 88 with the step in the neck and no neck volute but then someone offered me 14k for it and that was in 2014. Couldn't say no.

It would be 40k+ now…Damn. I wouldn’t ever sell something like that until it’s like 100k+ or I am on the brink of extinction.

I 100% don't believe anyone paid DIablo $20k for an MX. The last MX I sold, this year, was a little knocked around but was $6500. I'm sure I could have gotten a bit higher casting a wider market vs. mates rates, but Reverb doesn't support the idea of these actually selling for tons ($15k+) money. Don't confuse asking price for selling price.
 
What I find craziest is how many MX copies go for ridiculous money on the second hand market. I don't get it, to me, it's like having a copy of a copy.
 
$20k is wild but PRS Dragons are going for $45k so what do I know. Gibson charges upwards of that for reissues. Gotta love inflation.
