Who got Call Of Duty 4 today?

I wasn't interested at first, but after looking into it some more, it's going to be amazing. :thumbsup:

I was just playing through some more of the COD4 single player mode, and it's ridiculous. Intense is the only word to describe it. :rock:
 
I am thinking about going and getting it today? I Usually stick to one game at a time, aand I am almost done with Bioshock. I don't know if I should blow my Best Buy gift cert on COD4 or wait for Asassian's Creed.

I did watch a gameplay trailor of Creed, and it seemed like a lot of Stealth stuff. Good Graphics, but kinda more like Splinter Cell(which I don't care for). I want to kill things! hahahaha

I don't know much about Mass effect, but I can't wait for Condemned 2 to come out. They said it makes the 1st one look like Sunday at Church. That is insane, cuz there were a few times in Condemned Criminal Origins were I thought I might shit my pants! :lol: :LOL:
 
I got it today on my lunch break from work. Gonna pop it in now for a few levels of single player! Add my gamertag (see below) and i'll play online with anybody here! :thumbsup:

i got it today and have been playing it a bit...shits ALL over Halo. i knew it would though...Half Life 2 shits all over Halo, and it was released 5 years ago (originally). i only really got Halo so my brother could play it and i could play online with some of you guys...although i did enjoy single player and playing multiplayer.

COD4 is intense and the graphics are amazing. cant wait to get online and get my noob ass kicked! :rock:
 
I'll get it for PC at some point... CoD2 was a blast, and this looks better.
this is going to be a great month for games... CoD4, mass effect, UT3, assassin's creed, crysis... fuck thats a lot of money :no:

On topic, just bought the PC version, really awesome game so far, played online for awhile and its a lot of spraying and praying going on :lol: :LOL:
 
Okay....I beat Bioshock about 3 hours ago, went and picked up my car from the shop and drove to Best Buy. Used the gift cert and got COD4. Haven't opened it yet, but will tonight sometime. Should be rockin!
 
They definately went in a right direction on this new CoD4!! Only so many games can be on WW... seriously... but CoD4 is the fucking SHIT!!! I was in the multiplayer beta, and this game just shreds all other FPSs to SHREDS! Plus the fact that you have to do challenges to get more add-ons for your guns, and more guns in general, in multiplayer makes it that much more fun!

the story is that Infinity Ward wanted CoD 3 to be modern...if you look at CoD 3, its developed by a different studio...basically just CoD 2 with new stuff. the WW stuff is getting kinda old. we have the Call of Duty games, plus all the other WW-era FPS games. its about time we got some modern stuff! :)
 
Damn, all this talk of how awesome it is has really made me want to play it. Better be in stock tomorrow. :gethim:

I just got done playing it for a little while. One question? If Halo sucks soo bad why does everyone have to compare everything to it?

I still love Halo3 and I'm actually getting better at it on multiplayer, and after playing it with other people it's just stupid to call it overrated if all you're doing is playing the single player campaign.

But graphically speaking, COD4 is one another level from Halo3. It really does smoke it. Gameplay feels solid, but I'm going to have to play through the entire game and play some mulitplayer to see if i have as much fun as i do when i play Halo3.

I may pass on Assassins Creed. I bought the Orange Box, never opened it and it sat for a few days, i just don't have the time to play all these games so i exchanged it for COD4. Halo3, COD4, Bioshock, Obvivion, and Mass Effect will keep me busy for a while.

Yeah i know. I just like to build a character the way i like. I wish they can get it online so everyone can fight it out and see who built the better elf or Nord.

Hey, did you know that voice of the Orc and Nord women is Linda Carter. :D
 
negative.. I still have to beat Halo3. Mario Galazy is next on teh video game list though :D
