Legit. Phenominal. String to string clarity is amazing. Notes in complex chords don't get lost, the low end is somewhat relaxed yet present and tight. Not a boomy, blotchy mess like a JB, and definitely not lacking. It's like a Custom where the mids are a smidge relaxed, and a little less hair. Lead tones just leap off the fretboard. Great harmonics. It's aggressive. If you want those attributes and play metal/thrash/prog, it checks all the boxes. I cannot find a single thing to complain about. I've owned many Charvels, and NEVER played one that sounds this gnarly, and inspiring.
Here's a black Winter versus the Jupiter...the Jupiter sound like it has more clarity and the lows are tighter more defined and still some mids push to it with what I hear in this video and it has less low end emphasis than the Black Winter.
Was looking at these Jupiter's... wonder if these can be custom ordered since the black and silver is almost a deal breaker for me. Its vanilla af. And the black winter has been my main PU for a good while. If the Jupiter truly has more high end, kinda sounds like it might, I think maybe I'll pass on trying one. The black winter already has the maximum amount of high end I'm willing to deal with in a pickup.
