I was banned from TGP for calling Jimmy Page a pedophile.
If consistently speaking in coherent sentences is “ a TGP vibe” I guess you will just have to get used to it.

The closest bond that TV and I share is that you don’t leave either of us alone lol.

There's some forums and mods/owners that encourage snitching. And there are rewards.
Having the #1 guy reply to, or like one of your posts for example.

Some of those dicks think all forums are cool with it.

Is Scott Auld still there?

Let's just say that we were both well aware of our diametrically opposed views on certain aspects of America life, and life in general.
It got in the way often for literally years while I was there.

Guy even blinked at me the wrong way and I took it hugely personal and acted like a dick.
Not saying he didn't act the part too at times - but he always held the stick.

More than 10 years removed from the petty B.S. and I just see a zealously Patriotic family guy trying to do the right thing.
And with the same hindsight, a guy who was a very bad choice as MOD on a wide open forum like TGP.

I haven’t seen any posts or info from Auld in quite a while, but I don’t think there is any kind of announcement if a TGP mod moves on to something else.

I spoke with Scott Auld a few months ago or so. He sorta talked me out of leaving the site but then Peterson kept fucking with me and enough was enough

He was always cool way back. Even spoke on the phone a few times to get Fractal tips for the AX8 I had.
Something weird overall happened over there that coincided with the true start of the all out Digital Wars.

Fractal vs Line 6 vs Kemper created really ridiculous dividing lines that polluted the D&M section and number
of peripheral sections BADLY.

Mod's had relationships with some of the big players back then and you have to assume there was some brand
lobbying going on behind the scenes.
Real quick it was easy to see who got the kid gloves and who didn't.
Crazy times.

I’m totally lost on the digital stuff. Until a few weeks ago the most recent hardware I had was a Digitech RP7 lol.
Then I just got a headrush mx5 and I dig it.
 
I was banned many times from TGP. Was told I could come back after the last time ( a few years ago) but I declined. It's hard to remember now, but I think the last thing I did to get banned was tell a guy his Fender Rumble had no balls ( they really don't) and when he made a thread asking why his P bass sounded so good I suggested it was likely built from the tree they nailed Jesus to. It was either that or suggesting we should all out go to war on China.

The Covid threads and all the douchebaggery. People telling me I am killing the planet by warming my car up when it's -4 outside. Fuck that place.

I don't recall what bullshit name(s) I used on TGP, but I suspect after a few posts some people may recognize my posting style.

God dammit I have been racking my brain trying to remember Ayinar's daughter's name. I have no idea why that would pop into my brain. Surely he has a selfie thread here though right? :-)

No complaints buddy. Everyone here is safe and happy. Getting old is all. Good to see you. Craig and I stay in touch via the occasional email. Other than that I haven't talked to anyone from TGP in a very long time.
