The Moto Teddy Jose tube preamp.
you know ..... RaceU4her sent me his to check out ..... we talked about me tracing it .... and building a few . I just could'nt find the time for the project .... it was all point to point ..... and at least for me ... a lot harder to trace than a PCB .

How about a dual button pedal with a clean boost on one side and the Chiron on the other and set up you could choose either one or both at the same time? And have separate in’s and out’s for each side so you could use the 4CM and run the Chiron to the front and the clean boost though the loop essentially adding a third channel to any amp

everyone wants me to pair the Chiron with something ...... I have to admit it's my favorite stacking pedal ....

the 808 into the Chiron is probably my favorite .... Japetus has wanted one of these forever .... the Klon circuit throws me a few curveballs when combining it with something else .... the footswitching circuit is different because of the buffer the Klon has ... It's a matter of me throwing a hunk of time at it ....

Maestro Super Fuzz FZ-1S so I can get my L7 on :) The one that looks like a cd. Call it the Donita!

Graphics should be inspired by the spiral arms and makeup she’d wear.

let me see what I can find for schematics .... phasers arent that hard to come by ...... I've built a few Maestro MP-1's and modded the hell out of them ... including a blinking ( rate ) LED for the head of the Spliff ....

Flanger circuits seem harder to come by ..... but I'll do some poking around
This pedal is absolutely epic

It is my true dream pedal, but I suppose I wonder...if the 808 was first, then the Chiron (in pedal lineup) but in between there was a "mix" knob. So both "pedals" are independent but there is a simple mix between them. Run one, the other or both with mix at noon being straight up both, and the mix knob adding more of each (with the levels still remaining the same on each side)

Do a Rat with a sweepable midrange (like a parametric), additional switchable boss OD-1 type boost, and throw in a remote relay switching input (for the boost). That would own.

Two things I think would be cool would just be a 6 band EQ but with a level control and buffer/true bypass option with standard 18 dB cut/boost.

Another thing would be Wah with 6 different voicings, fine tune, boost and Q knobs like the Dimebag but internal gain trim pot, a great buffer/true bypass built in and yellow/red fasel or who knows that Mesa/Red fasel or Mesa/Yellow fasel so you really have like 12 wahs in one and the ability to switch between two different fasels.

Pretty much a pimped out Dimebag Wah with extra features and everything you'd want or ever need in terms of wah.

This was something I was thinking about too. A Boss GE7 clone, without the noise, with some kind of built in 1 knob boost, like an Xotic EP Boost.

This would be more like the MXR 6 band as it has a bit different EQ and more range and cut too at 18 dB for the MXR vs 15db on the GE7. Slider or knob or whatever but yeah added bonus switchable buffer/true bypass too.

Agreed, but I was thinking more for their respective sounds. ie. the Echoplex pre has a vibe, and the GE7 as a boost alone has a cool vibe, even set neutral for the EQ itself. I just hate how noisy it is.

Yeah maybe the level control could be based on a boost like a Klon or Xotic EP.

New BOSS GE7 have a better buffer and less noisy too with no mod needed so I would say check those out but yeah maybe something with character.

ImO an SD1 based boost/level control would make sense and maybe internal trim pot for drive and that's it. With a switch to take the circuit in or out of signal maybe too. Imo key are those MXR 6 band frequencies as a platform and go from there with that 18 dB cut/boost. Maybe a global mid switch inside too.

Simple, a lot of function and a lot of flexibility and Straight forward offering a lot in one pedal with buffer/true bypass option too.

Did not realize there even was a new GE7, lol. I will check one out next time I'm in GC if they have it. I have a switcher, so I generally prefer TB. If it has a buffer, I will keep it on it's own TB loop. If Wayne makes one though, I would want his first. I know it will be quality components throughout, and most importantly quiet.

Bassballs is ok, MuTron is much better. I think a more tweakable MuTron with an OD that only effected frequencies above 90 would make a damn fine Floyd Eye sig pedal. 💁‍♂️

I mean it would be more like an MXR 6 band but yeah I mean..... trust I think it would be dope especially with an SD1 style boost in there as a level and internal drive trim lot. Maybe add a mid dip switch too and with buffer/true bypass you can set to taste depending on situation. I'd call that one The Dirty Harry.

The wah would be crazy but yeah if that Wah could be made I'd find a way to get it or pay for it lol. It would be like the ultimate wah.... I'd call it The-Kids Pure Velvet/Satin Wah because it would be smooth as hell to the touch ^_^

This or maybe Nirvan-Wah but yeah :dunno:

And maybe it's underrated but the MXR 6 band EQ has been used by dudes like EVH, Billy Gibons to Dimebag and for good reason.... it's just sick, effective, has plenty of range, simple, flexible and it gets the job done ^_^

I have the Pentatone Parametric EQ pedal; sounds very good but I prefer my Source Audio EQ2 with presets.
