If it was that I didn't plug the cable in all the way that would be kind of dipshit award for sure and I own a friggin' studio. I've plugged in a few cables in my day. Pretty humbling, I'm just glad it's working. Everything happens for a reason, I spent the afternoon and had lunch with Rob down at Tone Merchants.

Thanks Peter. So weird, maybe I didn't have it plugged in all the way but that doesn't seem possible, it's a damn midi cable...lol Even I can do that.

Yeah the loop works great as a boost. I just have a chorus/delay pedal on the floor. I'm totally not an effects guy live. I'm kind of an Angus Young guy.

It's possible you may have had the midi cable plugged in upside down. I did this with my VH4 also. It seems like its possible to make the cable plug in both ways, so make sure its right side up when you're setting up.
