I’m not big in to public restrooms man. I mostly shit at home or at my private work shitter.
@Aynirar27 Maybe so, but your male coworkers are fair game in there with you for your nefarious penetration and fondling............. :giggle: :p

Please post a picture of your 500 watt head.
A 100W tube amp can peak at 300W.

A well constructed reactive load will handle peak power, and dissipate this energy in the form of heat.

🤷‍♂️

My work bathroom is sweet dude. I converted an old locker room in to it. The shower stalls are my chemical storage. I removed all the toilets but one and yanked the partitions out, but then it felt weird shitting in a big empty space so I put one stall back together. I have one sink as my sample tap and one for washing up.
Best thing is that no one else really has a key to it

For micro-seconds.
How come guitar speakers aren't rated at 500 watts?

This thing handles those peaks just fine.

You're not hurting anything with oversized loads as long as you got your impedance right.
But it sure is massive overkill.

Here's an early prototype (circa 2003) of a resistive load with a transformer driven line-out..

I used to run this in parallel with a 412 cabinet to cut the overall volume and give a little compression.

Constructed inside an old PC power supply housing.

This was another purely resistive load with finned aluminum heat sink, transformer driven line out.

@Aynirar27 Jesus! I didn't know you were THAT senior..............you have the ONLY key to the executive shitter.

Congrats......you've reached the top of the food chain ladder Fella.

I just save it for the porta-Johns. Better than filling my septic tank.
