Why I like amp fests

It is plenty big and punchy no doubt, but then there’s also how the amp actually sounds (and feels)
 
Did other guys have different favorites/least favorites? Did any pickups have any remote soul/life to them vs the Jap PAF?

Everyone was in love with a motorcity pickup. The japanese pup did not play well with Matt's setup at all. But i had a blast playing it. Thing is fucking hot

Damn it’s like everything you’re telling me is Opposite Day lol, but things can happen after some drinks. I found motor city’s decent, but nothing amazing. Way overhyped imo in how they used to get on here when I was new to this forum. At least you didn’t say anything BKP! I can live with that
 
I would love to spend more time with the Monomyth skeleton key (shout out to shea @Monomyth for making an awesome amp), deliverance, and of course the recto..but with my pedalboard to see if i could turn them into my sound.

Everyone pretty much loved the uber and the recto and like me had a tough time deciding between them.

I got compliments on the mgl, especially for the clarity. I think people werent expecting that amp to be special. Total sleeper. @MGL AmpWorks
I keep trying to dethrone the red, but it just hasnt happened yet
 
I am jealous of some of the amps I see. Just have to appreciate my Mark IV and BE.

The monomyth skeleton key was an awesome amp, and much better than what i remember from my monomyth modded marshall. It is a beast of an amp.

The synergy amp is pretty cool if you want modelling in a tube amp. The uberschall.module was dark and i wouldnt recommend, kali was good, iic+ is worth the price of admission, slo was good, but the real stand out was the pitbull, which led to our next experiment: how did pitbull module compare to actual deliverance.

Last year, i didnt really give the Deliverance a fair chance. This amp was one of my favorites. It has a great voicing, but it is a little bright for me.

The uber ultra amp as i said before is special.

Ground zero modded recto is massive, but not my thing. Too dark.

Dual Recto is legend status.

Unfortunately, the mark iv was not healthy, so we will have to wait til another day, though that amp killed last year

Love the hellrazor. Very special amp

Wizard mtl is always a great amp. Didnt get to.play the mcii today, but i have played before, and it is a special amp. We got too carried away with amps in stereo...which by the way, @Techdeth
Told me i needed to so this. It is fucking insane! At the end, we accidentally out mgl and recto on stereo, and that was sexy AF

Yeah. I wasnt drinking today actually. But yeah. There were some nice guitars, but i had trouble playing them. The strat had a middle pickup. Maybe because my hands are so big, i pick where the middle pickup is, so i kept hitting it. I am used to a tom where you have a lot of room under the strings. And matt has some beautiful mayonnes that are amazing guitars, but i dont really jive with the schaller hannes, though it is an amazing design
 
Nice collection, looks like a blast.

I guess the Uber and Recto were just lucky no one brought this bad boy.

I would love to a/b my redback loaded mills cab with his redback loaded wizard cab. I dont know which wins. Those wizard cabs are special

Yeah this particular one I really have trouble seeing how others would not unless maybe they’re dialing in the HR strangely or outside what it more naturally excels at, idk
