Why Not With A National Act?

So one of my friends calls me up out of the blue today and says "Not to sound like a d@#$ but why aren't you playing guitar with a National act? Your so d*%# good!" And I just had to tell him I've lost count of how many people have told me that and I just had to tell him it's not easy...

I disregard the opinions of people unless they are players on a similar or greater level. Even when that is the case their opinion wont cancel out my own harsh criticisms of my playing.

Maybe because you play guitar because you like to and don't feel like marrying at least three other people to play to a mediocre crowd in Toledo on a Monday night?

Well, you confess to Christ and the priest acts as the witness so normally the confession is done during service before the icon of Christ. I did my life confession privately because it's a little more in depth since it is your first confession. For routine confessions a reader will chant liturgy during this time, obscuring your confession from the ears of other church attendees. There is no confession booth like at a roman catholic church.

I think that’s a pretty good approach. Whether confessing to God or not, it’s always good to make time to reflect on your actions

I have had this same conversation many times but my career in cooking is really just starting to take off right now….

Man this has me questioning our friendship, LOL.That was rather dark and then she started singing and all hell was breaking loose. Strangely I feel better about my own original material now so I guess that's the upside but I'll take the overnighter in Guantanamo instead of hearing that again if that's an option here. That was brutal.
