but fuck if I don't hate all that sweeping shit anymore....impressive to do, but it bores me musically...all his other stuff was great though
He's anything but sloppy. I did not hear one wrong note in the couple of videos I saw. On the other hand, it would sound sloppier if he did not have it on for the techniques he's using.Random Hero":1jz004an said:Megadeth7684":1jz004an said:Tons of guys use a hairtie like that, especially in the studio. I understand it in the studio, but not all the time. It surely encourages sloppy technique? I'm not arguing that what he's playing isn't impressive. Of course it is, but it would be even more impressive with the potential for the open strings to be ringing, and he was controlling them.

word. after about 45 seconds, it got boring. Yes. I wish I could play like that, but I hope I would have the sense not to wear out the flashy stuff.
What's witht the hair band? Mute? what happens when it's time to play (power) chords or is that forbidden in wanker-land?

Mesa are like marshalls in the sense that there is no point having any eq on them, you cant get an individual tone out of them.
Oh and i forgot to mention, the effects loops are notoriously bad.

I don't mind the hairband, but saying something like that is just retarded.
