Nothing is selling. Gear, cars, motorcycles etc. It seems like a good time to buy but I’m wondering if stuff will ever start moving again.

Thoughts.

Guitars are low need / a hobby, their sales won't pick up until after more important purchases do (food/cars/etc).

Results of the election will impact this massively given one of Trump's big policies is tariffs which are extraordinary inflationary and would probably lengthen this economic period were in.

From everything I have watched, everyone seems to think 2025 will be way worse then this year.

The market will go back to what it was before the pandemic. Around here a les paul was selling for 2200 to 2500. After pandemic 3000 to 3500. Same thing with golf. Golf game cost double what normally did once pandemic hit. It was hard to make reservation for tee time. Now it's getting easier and prices are coming down. Everyone and their grandmother started golfing and playing guitar during pandemic cause they couldn't do anything else.

Imagine living through 2008’s crysis 😂

Everything will bounce back. Hell, people still buy Coliseums for 15k.

And prices are yet not back to good moving prices in most cases. Find me a pre covid price for a Coliseum, I’ll sell my neighbor’s both kidneys for it.

Greens fees have doubled around here. It’s $40 to play a dog track. 5 years ago we could play a top 100 public course for $50.
