Will the market come back around after the election?

Only thing up is the stock market. Job losses, auto sales, home sales, all down. Ongoing wars. Most people strapped by debt and higher prices for pretty much everything.
Government broke. A trillion dollars every 90 days interest on debt alone.
As for gear look at sales. Says all you need to know.
Yes 2025 will bring pre Rona prices and better for those sitting on the sidelines with cash.
I may be way off but that’s how I see 2025-26
History is replete with examples of Empires collapsing under debt of these proportions.

You know the drill.
My comments are anchored in guitar improvisation.
A RigPuke member makes a comment or starts a thread.. BOOM!- that’s the key, time to mine the seam and play guitar solo’s with my words.
This is the source of my content bombs.
Dude, it’s good clean fun man!
oh I like you already. I must have missed some really good times on here the last decade!

It’s somewhat simple in my mind and maybe I’m wrong but : If we tap and utilize the natural energy resources this country is sitting on and stop making other countries rich we will be in better shape. We also need to make products here in this country again like we used to. We made someone across the pond very rich and powerful by growing their economy while destroying our own, its really sad.

The stimulus jolt is over, now prices have to get back in line with people’s incomes.

No. Not really.

Maybe in as so fare as: gas, food, or some other consumable commodities prices/costs.

But as far as: real estate, property taxes, home owners insurance, electric bill, new auto prices, auto insurance... forget about it. Sky is the limit. Your income. needs to keep up. None of these things will be getting any cheaper in the near future regardless.

Don't take my word for it... look at some economic inflation charts over the past 50 years. It's a steady increase year over year, with a few small corrections in-between. But prices will only go up... not down.

We are talking about disposable spending, guitar gear, I’m sticking with my assessment in regard to it. You are changing the topic to necessities, and entirely different set of circumstances.

Now your talking common sense which doesn’t make the real money.
What you speak of sounds like..WORK.
Someone can just come up with an idea on their phone and does not need to do all that work to get rico’.
Utilizing doesn’t work with rapacious consumers.
Desperation is the Mother of invention.
We’re just not desperate enough yet homie.
Remember, we’re 3 meals away from savage.
Once individuals get starving hungry, they get motivated to eat and finally do something..
-call Uber eats with Mom’s Venmo?
People need. Money but they don’t need the work,
-if they have to, they can play video games for 14 hours straight and earn $40 for the day,
-it’s all good bro!

None of those defended the world. If you think Europe wants their money back at the expense of their safety, I think you’re mistaken.
Europe, at least Western Europe is in decline, and will be overwhelmed by the Muslim invasion in the coming decades. The creation of the grand caliphate of europistan is well underway unless indigenous Europeans do something about it, but they haven't yet; and each year they become fewer and weaker as the invaders outbreed them.

Plenty of stories of Europeans fleeing Europe, haven't found any country, UN or EU collecting or at least publishing the numbers, but it's happening and will likely accelerate.

As I've said many times: when you're on a sinking ship in the middle of the ocean you have three options: try to save it, sink with it, abandon it. As many first world people are starting to realize the futility of saving it, a minority who have the means to do so are abandoning it; the rest will be trapped and sink with it.

In his essay, "Fate of Empires", Glubb defined common phases of an empire's rise to its' fall; during the decline there are often reactionary movements that attempt to go back to better times; these are short lived and futile as once a society/country/empire gets to a certain point of no return, there is no chance to save it...the collapse is inevitable. This is true of all long gone cultures, societies, empires of the past; to think Western Europe, EU, the USA, etc. are immune to this is the ultimate hubris or denial.

enjoy the decline

... it is all related. If people don't have enough money for shelter, food, and taxes... do you think they will have money for guitars and amps?

You can't live in an amp... you can't drive your guitar to work... ;)

It’s not happening in the next thirty years, and since that’s all I have left, I’ll be fine.

Umm, you’re agreeing with me without understanding you are.

No. You stated gear prices will come down. I'm saying the opposite.

I remember when you could buy a new USA Jackson for $1300... now the same guitar is $3500 in 2024.
I remember when a new USA Les Paul Standard was $1600... now you're lucky to find the same guitar for $2600 in 2024.

... those days are long gone. Why? Labor costs, transportation costs, material costs, insurance costs have only gone up, up, up.

Omw to your island. We will fortify

I remember a lot of dudes during covid drastically overpaying for gear and making all sorts of excuses to themselves to justify it. I see a lot of that same gear being listed back for sale now at those inflated prices, and it won't move (and some of those guys are complaining because it won't sell). Kinda hard to feel sorry for them.

I've got 2 guitars on Craigslist priced to sell and not a single bite even though I posted them a week ago.

I think a lot of people are holding onto their money out of concern for what could happen after the election. I can't blame 'em. Food and shelter come first.

Things are probably gonna get bad in America for awhile, so y'all please stay safe.
