I think this amp will be a keeper, hopefully kick out another amp or 2. But who knows, I really like what I have right now.

I sold it to a local bud on here an hour ago actually. Fastest amp sell I’ve ever had. Going to a good home for sure.
I wanted the 100 mcII or mtl honestly. Boom, timing was perfect.
Excited to run through this sexy red beast

As much as you dig the 50, that's just an opening act to the 100w, MTL or MC it doesn't matter. Plenty of Metal in the MC plus you can boost them more easily since the saturation is switchable, on the MTL its always on making it pickier with pedals.
Get ready for your sonic steamroller....only amp that can measure up to the punch of a 100w Wizard is a Mesa Coli....

Yeah I hear you, but that’s more of a tube difference and feel I would assume. The SPL can’t be that much louder? Or am i wrong? You got the 100 and 150 side by side. What the biggest differences?
I’m sure this will do everything I want it to.
I say that.........but......... a MTL150 sounds like it would be an atomic bomb.

I don't think, at the volume these things can reach, that you can really tell (or care) which is 150 and which is 100 in terms of volume. The difference between the two is more how the amp responds - which is more tube related... the kt88 version having more low-end punch, tighter, a little darker and more modern sounding.

Thanks bro, glad your digging the MC, it’s a beast, and the loudest 50w I’ve ever heard.
If you spend time with these amps and the hi/low inputs, with the channel boosts, lead presence, etc....there is tons of tones in there. Not just good, but great.
I think I’ll always have a wizard. Great amps.
