That's why they have the B mode, so the AI can race for you while you watch TV or hop on 360 on a different TV Just make sure your car is faster than everyone elses, which is usually not a problem. Helps when you have higher B points too.

Their Matchmaking system is great, but sometimes the matches are a bit off.
I was playing with the usual guys (who are good) and we went up against another team in Social Team and got owned 50 to 15, within 5 min.

I'm rated a 3...just started playing online last night.
Some games I have 15 kills...some 5. Depends how good the other guys are I guess.
Some of them camp out and wait for you, or gang up on you 4-1...hard to beat that.

Nothing better than sneaking up on a guy and whacking him in the head with your gun.
He's dead and has no idea what happened.

See, thats the thing...I rarely beat out the "other guy" in beatdowns. I usually get my ass handed to me.

And, I don't see how QUICK some dudes can kill you. I know it's all headshots (Halo 3 is all I got for 360), but damn if I can get a headshot targeted in before I'm toast.

I just don't see how a lot of people do it. I have to empty a round on someone to kill 'em, they get me with one shot.

Maybe it's just practice I need. But, geez, I like killing Covenant and Flood on campaign much better, haha. They aren't near as good as some XBL'ers.

Also, I know I'm late to the game, but XBox live is really addicting. I joined the day Halo 3 came out (same day I bought a new flat panel and Xbox 360, hehe).

But, do you guys ever get tired of the relentless burping and cussing the idiots you play against blurt out every time a new match loads...It's funny and original the first 2000 times you hear it.

Yeah. i only started public also.
I usually avoid it because i cant stand 13 year old yapping in my ear
But it is the only way to get EXP points in Halo, so ya gotta do it.

The gun you start with isn't the best...you have to look around and pick up a good one.

Depends.
We normally only play against/with the same group of guys. Our jokes are repetitive, but we still laugh

When we play public matches, we are all there also, so we can handle the little kiddies.

Last night some kid was humming like a psycho all through the game "la di da di da"...until someone yelled "who the fuck is that...shutup!" I just turned off the headset...weirdos!

Adjust your analog stick sensitivity.
Also, when you unload, unload in the face/head rather than the body.

I normally hate the fact that you have to hit the Dpad to talk, but in this case, it serves it's purpose
