Recorded my XTC for the first time tonight, and also the first time recording an H30. Used my LP Custom, red channel, gain at 10:00 with the boost engaged, SM57 and an E609, double tracked and panned 70% left and right. I went over board with the harmonies and shit like I allways do. :scared: Anyway.....

You ROCK!!!!

That sounds fkn awesome Jason!! Definitly one of the best tones i have heard from you so far and the playin kicks ass too!

The H30's seem to compliment the smoothness of the XTC well. Sounds great, nice job! I need to play a XTC again, very fluid and darker which is up my alley.

Wow, that is one of the better clips I have heard of the XTC. Your opening riff reminds me of Warren DiMartini. That was a really nice sound you got there.

Thanks guys. I'll try to lay off all the lead layering and crap next time though. I tend to get carried away :aww:

I was surprised how the H30 recorded, because I really don't like it much in the room (mixed with 2 V30's). I'll do a comparison in the future.

Thanks man. I found a backing track for Killing the Dragon.... I'm going to try that next!

Sounds awesome. A little brighter than I set mine up, but it sounds bad ass.

Those H30s sound paper thin to me. Some of your other clips were way fatter and thicker.

great playing as allways, but just don't seem to sound as good as some/most of your other clips?

i like basic tone, just something the way it recorded that's not as good as your usuall. guess maybe the H30's, or maybe that they just need a deferent mic placement?

FWIW i actually thought this sounded more like some of your past Cameron HG Jose clips rather than most other Bogner clips i have heard!

I think that sounds great. My old 101b (or any 101b I tried) didn't sound that good. Then again - maybe I just suck!?!?
