C, Dm, Em, F, G, Am and one more. B something. Diminished?

Those are the triads. If you add one more note to each you have the 7th chords.

ie.

C maj7
D min7
E min7
F maj7
G dominant 7 (G7)
A min 7
B 7b5 (also called half-diminished)

Except it's Bm7b5 not B7b5.

Okay, well we're at simple shit...
here's a simple bass+drum loop with the Bass going from A to E.
Try this over it...
Over everything you can-depending on how you look at it-either play C major, making the progression Am to Em
G major making it Am to Em
D major making it A7 to Em
Amajor making it A to E7
of course A minor and major pentatonic as well as Eminor pentatonic or a mix of all the above will work just fine.
Just remember to play to how the bass changes, in other words don't ride the A note over the E, unless that's what you really want.
Here's the loop...

And with a quickie wank...

Here's my attempt :D

I chose A7 to Em, and tried a solo as well, lol.

Would you mind posting it without the rhythm guitar...until then I'm mute.

Sure no problem boss :)
Thought so...without the chords being way too much up front it was great, you ended the 3rd phrase, I think on a D over the A, and you really didn't put much confidence into that note, and it was the only thing I disliked in terms of note choice.
