Do you have one? I vaguely remember you talking about running one at half power (maybe with triode pentode switch mod) or something along that line.

If you need help biasing it I know someone.

HNAD and they aren’t bad amps. I find these make better mod platforms than 2203 IMO but there aren’t as many to go around or as many SLX kits available.

That's one on my short list as I've done exactly that.
Was also looking at an Avenger with meaningful (to me) provenance.
Then I see the Synergy and modules...
Not sure which way I'm going to end up.

I just wanted one . I used it on tour with all my favorite bands when I was doing shows . Thst tone brings me back to doing to shows with in flames and killswitch. Shit we all 5150s going at times

Forget the future! We don’t even know if we will be here tomorrow! The way things are going it’s not looking good! Surely Iran will soon trigger WW3 and then the end will be upon us all! Spend freely! I wildly spend without a second thought. Each morning when I wake super hungry wondering where my next meal will come from, I glance over at my amps and guitars and all is right in the world. I can go a few days without food if it means getting a new guitar or amp. I rarely plug into most of the amps. My eye always stops at the mighty backstage plus and I am good.

so, I got all the amps I wanted or so I thought.

then someone has to go post about a JCM 900 SLX, an amp I had totally forgotten about. Never really liked the JCM 900, but the SLX was different.

So like an idiot I go look for vids on YT, next thing I know I'm looking for one, next thing I know I find one, next thing I know I make an offer; next thing I know offer accepted...

100W, 5881 power tubes. Now I just hope UPS / FedEx don't perform unwanted modifications on its' way to me.
