Yes, this is the best recto sim out there, period!

Wavemind rev F. Only 60 bucks as well. Has an incredible looking GUI too I must say.

I like this better than any recto sim I’ve heard, including my axe fx probably. This is just absolutely devastating and feels and sounds just like my rev F. This thing is absolutely punishing. Used the tubescreamer boost up front.

IR is titan Audios pack, the 65m creamback with a 57/201 mix. There is no eq on this other than high/low pass. Enjoy! SoundCloud kinda sucks, but it’ll do the job.

I’m wondering what sort of impact AI is gonna have on amp sims.

Damn, this sounds great. Gonna have to pick it up. The more I play those creamback IRs the more I think I need a cab that has them. Any idea if those are 16 ohm or 8 ohm?

It's so funny you made this thread. I had no idea this existed until I was looking up ProTone pedals to get another look at the Dino sig pedal and it redirects you to Wavemind's page with emulations of all the PT line as well as the Rev F. I demo'd it and bought it after less than 10 mins of playing. It feels and sounds so realistic. Top 5 amp sims out there no question. The only thing it's missing is a fkn tuner. Big fail right there but still awesome value.

I’m like 99 percent positive they are 16ohms, but I will ask Zach and find out, almost positive though. I have An engl straight cab that has 2 8 ohm 65m’s in it as well as 2 v30s, incredible sounding cab.

glad someone else feels this way too, that was the thing for me: the feel. It really is the most amp like thing I’ve played. Hard to explain but you know what I’m talking about obviously. Way way way underrated sim, I need to try his Engl now as well.

with NAM being open source, pretty much any developper who find out how to blend NAM profiles together when moving knobs can make ampsims now.

i suspect its already been done for a long while

I was reading the Engl description I’m wondering if it is a modded amp he captured. Either way sure it sounds good.

Started using creambacks over ten years ago in my touring cabs and have zero intentions to ever switch, they just sound killer.

One more, different IR and alittle EQ…this thing is just so forward and in your face, truly top 3 amp sims I’ve ever heard.

Brutal!!

I'll have to give it a shot. Thanks for the heads up!

I have been using ML Soundlab's Amped Triple Rev G with great results. Always looking to try something new.

That one has been my go to recto sim since its release years ago. Its the most accurate G sim out there IMO. Sounds crushing and just like my real Rev G. I like this new Rev F sim a little better I gotta say. It feels more realistic to me. I think you'll dig it.

Sounds awesome!

Does the full tone in the clip (not counting post-EQ) come from the plugin or did you use anything before it to shape the signal of your guitar going into the plugin? There's a lot of great compressed sizzle on top but very clear string definition in the chords that ring out, while palm mutes have ridiculous chunk to them.

Getting those elements happening all at the same time might be one of the hardest balances to strike in high gain tones I think.

I liked the first clip a little better. Second clip was a bit over-the-top sizzly for my taste, but the first clip sounded nice and chunky while still being aggressive!
