 :hys:

did u ever hear that boot audio CD i have with Yngwie playing in his apartment in L.A. through a practice amp while getting interviewed by some young kids? Its epic! it was like two weeks after he arrived from Sweden...He's plays Uli Roth and Al Dimeola stuff and trys to explain his style..pretty cool.

So now you want a piece too? I've never even heard that a bootleg like that even exists. You guys are killing me man. It blows me away that there isn't any video of Yngwie with Steeler.

How bad have we ruined Ant's cool early Yngwie thread with our :gay: innuendo? Yes, I said innuendo

I'll burn u a copy, u need to hear it ..it's two CD's and he's literally working out pieces to his rising force stuff and has his english is really rough. : ) There is a Steeler video out that I have on boot, but it's not Yngwie playing, it was right after he split. not even worth watching though. Have u seen the 85' Pittsburgh DVD boot where he plays a daphne blue 50's strat and sunburst strat?? dude, he does little savage just destroys!!

That would be killer Ant, THANKS! Man you and Don Barzini are hooking me up.

On that Steeler video you have, is it Kurt James on guitar? If so, I'd love to have that. I know him and he's a really cool guy. If it's Mitch Perry then I wouldn't be interested in it. I'm not sure if I've seen the '85 Pittsburgh one.

mark k. opened for yjm in 84 at the university of hawaii ballroom when y was in alcatrazz.

great show!

saw rising force in 85 in pomona valley auditorium w/ zachman,
marcing out tour opening for dio at NBC in hawaii and hung with yng at the jazz cellar in waikiki later that night

another friend mark weitz from odin was slated to be yng's singer after mark boals, and that would have been so much better musically than joe lynn turner, but during that transition i scored some casette demo of yngwie doing damage in his studio.

steeler hot on your heels was like hearing eruption for the first time. i remember writing down "ingvay nightsteen" on a piece of paper to try and track that maniac's records down after hearing them say his name on a 98 rock radio show in hawaii.

He was soooooooooooo the shit. Especially Alcatrazz through Trilogy.
I was stoked that I had his management (DeNovo/Andy Trueman) as my management comapny back in the day, even though he was a hell of a crook.

One of my early LA memories where when I used to live with a bunch of Swedish strippers that were friends with him and he used to hang out.

I guess that would be OK if you're into girls. Blech

Yeah, but look at your above quote before you edited it. I quoted you before you could change it to something not so revealing. ;)

That's right! Now we're ready for your secret stash of Yngwie photos. :D
