You too can have Nuno tone.....Get a DSL2000 A Rat and an N4....

After a brief stint on Discord, I found a pocket of 20 somethings, usually younger ....and they absolutely love all the older hair metal, and pre grunge era stuff. A lot.

I even met a 25 yr old from Norway, that had so much rack gear it made a synthnurds drool.

These younger players rip too, and want to learn from the older generation....so if you find one....give them a few tips and some advice, you will be surprised!🤘

a DSL with various boosts can get you all sorts of tones
It's really a great tone, you can hear it's at low volume and from a lowly DSL nonetheless.:2thumbsup:

Of course the kids playing is stellar but the tone is there regardless.........

Man, Nuno's rythms... seriously. Every damn album those rythms shine just as bright as the leads. You just have to sit through Gary's vocal antics but once you tune him out and treat the songs as a whole, Extreme really is a unique band. I love the 3rd album. Nuno was dialed in. Also the Bill n Becky 500's are a unique pickup and really bite. Be aware of that top end if you venture there for the first time. I would say not forgiving so you gotta have chops like Nuno and Dimebag or your mistakes will shine through.

Looks like the guy in the video is on the red channel? I don't know DSL's but I assume that's what the red light means?
To me the red chanel has a more modern gain... more sizzle. Boosting green is more vintage to my ears.

If the L500XL sounded good doing other tunes other than Nuno or Dime I'd like that pickup alot more....It's so clanky and grindy......:2thumbsup:

I guess one must have a designated Nuno or Dime guitar for those moments.......
