The SL2X was the first module developed in direct collaboration with our devoted fans on the Egnater Forum. Players loved the original SL2, but wanted a little something extra: Extra tightness, extra bite, extra aggression! The result: a more aggressive, but SUPER versatile high-gain British Module. The SL2X!

Channel A is a cure all remedy, giving you tone that goes from Texas blues, to Southern Rock, to modern hard rock crunch.

Channel B kicks up the gain to satisfy your appetite for all your slashing solo needs. It will leave you seeing red, in a state of pure ecstasy.

I keep reading this...and I really think this is perfect. I can't think of a single thing to change IMHO.

SL2X Module

Welcome to the Jungle. You’re not going to die, but you will have the most raucous and rambunctious tone this side of ’86. The SL2X takes the British flavour of the SL, and ramps up the gain big time with a tasteful dose of high-mid aggression. It also adds the righteous tightness of the EG5, without being so damn refined.

The versatile EQ, and wide range of gain in the SL2X makes it our most versatile high-gain module. It’s right at home whether you’re covering sleazy butt rock or forging any other brand of modern rock your whiskey-soaked brain can fathom.

Lets put the "X" in....The SL2. Like a big brother with an appetite for even more destruction, the SL2X is newest British inspired addition to the Egnater module family. Think SL2, just TIGHTER, BIGGER, and BADDER.

Channel A can weather a texas flood, shake you all night, and have you crying "more, more, more."

Channel B takes off like a nightrain for Paradise city. With even more gain and sustain, Channel B will pull you out of the cellar to bark at the moon all night.

This was a module born out of pure necessity. Jeff needed to get some sleep, and Eric wouldn't stop calling. Jeff knew that he needed to create a modification to the beloved SL2 that would make Eric put down the phone and pick up the guitar. With a phone in one hand, and a soldering iron in the other, Jeff toiled away while Eric instructed him with descriptive tone words such as "make it more better" and "make it sound gooder". Lo and behold, the SL2X was born. Jeff never heard back from Eric because he was too busy playing. Success!!!

SL2X

While most guitarists of the late 80's were looking for chicks by looking like chicks, one in particular was looking for destruction and found it with nothing more than a top hat, a 59 sunburst and 100 watt Silver Jubilee... the SL2X cuts through the glam and delivers more muscle, more bite, and more rock star street cred. It's also one of our most versatile modules.

Channel A - Everything from the brown sound to brownstone

Channel B - take Fair Warning this channel will have you saying "you could be mine"
