I always wanted a spaulted maple King V but they ran out of ebony yrs ago...that dyed crap is garbage.

^^^^ thx!!! A rediculous 3.5 yr wait but worth every penny

My second is actually my bone stock Les Paul Traditional. It’s the one I trust my ears and tuning of amps towards. If an amp sounds good with my traditional, it will sound good with anything else I own.

Mine is the esp custom shop kamikazie that Steve K gave to me. I put a dimarzio x2n in it. It’s the thickest mean sounding guitar I’ve owned. And I’ve owned 400 plus electrics the years.

Does that Kamikazie have the maple body ?

I used to have a #1. 2002 LP Classic. Named it Mojo. It's the "Mojo" in my forum name.
These days, there's no way I could choose just one. My Squier 70s Classic Vibe HSS with scottosan pups sees as much playing time as my Suhr Modern. Neither can take the #1 spot over either of my Gibsons. Each of those, plus the others I have, bring something different out in my playing.
If I had to choose just one...
Like there was a fire and I only had enough time to save just one...
It'd be down to the SG or Suhr.
Or maybe the Explorer or Charvel partscaster.
Possibly but probably not the Jazzmaster.
Damn, probably the SG or Suhr.

My best guitar is my Marchione and the '57 LP Jr would be #2 (feels very odd to not call it my #1 anymore lol), but the guitars I actually use most often are my McInturff Glory Custom and Aged Nitro Charvel San Dimas in Celadon Green (would be imo my 3rd best guitar)

My 2006 Jackson DK2M DINKY 291-1005 Made in Japan.

Good value, reliable, great tone, erganomic, upgradable

Crazy this is my #1 because I have guitars costing thousands more and got it n a trade. It is a 2013 LP Classic I thought was a Standard. I'm having fun beating it up, etc. It has Motor City 2nd Degree Blackbelts that Buckeyedog installed for me a few years ago. One day I'll have another #1. I love my Chubtone but probably will get a different bridge pickup instead of the JB and will be on fire.

Same here, I have a bunch of real expensive guitars, but I always reach for my 03 LP Classic.

EVH USA Wolfie. Love that thing for the past 10 years!!!! Cherry red. Stainless vintage frets. Medium low action,. d drop C tuning in one. Aldrich Bridge pickup, inverted toggle switch, Bournes low friction pot. Just a killer player and sounds soooo sweet. View attachment 122035
That cherryburst peavey is really missed by previous owner!! 😁 It has mojo! I should have kept it.....
