Kali lp-8. Could be a bit louder but they sound and project killer for the price.

Tannoy Super Gold with Mastering Lab crossover powered by McIntosh 250 for EQ and panning then NS10's powered by Bryston 4B usually in mono for most fader rides. Final check on an old Sony boom box and the car stereo.

I could just have the NS10's and be just fine. Honestly thinking about selling most of this as it's a bit much for my current room.

Yamaha hs8 that's a great monitor to have bass and top end just my opinion and they're not really that expensive

I always loved those tannoys

Using Kali IN5s...love them..Had Alesis M Ones and it is like taking the blanket off...the mids are incredibly detailed..lows are crisp and full...highs are clear and not scratchy.

KRK V8-IIs and they haven't failed me in 15 years.

Yamaha HS5’s…on the fence about adding a sub. Previously used Mackie 824’s bought back in the late 90’s.

M-Audio Studiophile BX8....the original ones with the switches....have served me well since I got them new!

Yamaha hs8.
Using the switches on back, and placing them in the right spot, I find them plenty accurate. Everything I hear on them translates well to home, car and phone.

nobody should get a sub without somewhat treating a room first. this is true for studio monitors but also even for home theaters or stereo systems. a good sounding room is so much more important than spending more on ‘upgraded monitors’ or adding a sub. let’s say you have 2000 to blow on nice monitors. you’d get much better results spending 500-1000 on room acoustics and cutting the budget in half and getting cheaper monitors. i know it’s not the gear slutty thing to do, but it’s the truth. subs especially are just lying to you in an untreated room.

amphion one15’s
yamaha ns10’s (w/ bryston 4b)
krk V8s4

on the amphions 85% of the time, 10% on ns10’s, 5% on KRK’s (these are actually amazing monitors for the money, more in common with their older 9000b’s and e8’s than the later stuff).

Sounds like advice you’d get from Gearslutz forums.
