It's all good man. Looks like I'm the only guy in here that didn't care for it as much. I don't mind boomer noodling either. I'm actually pretty jealous of it. That said, I'm Gen X and love everything from Elvis, 50's Rockabilly, The Beatles on up to KSE, Gojira and of course 311 :lol:

Not a big fan of Powermetal (sorry) and I love the guitars in Black and Death Metal, but the non stop growling wears on me.

Oh and there are plenty of Plexi tones and clips I've heard that are phenomenal. Cheers.
 
I stopped hating genres and generations years ago. There is good and bad in all. I don’t have the energy to be a condescending, judgmental, elitist teenager anymore.

Nah I like some of that on rare occasion. Not so much the modern stuff. That said, I’m feeling mature and mellow tonight. Tomorrow I’ll probably be full of rage and hatred. I’m won’t lie to myself or you. For example mention the band Jet and I will potentially go postal.
