It is totally cool that you aren't a fan of this...nothing wrong with that but I think you should have the facts.

Fyi - the mids are't scooped on any of my demos at all. In any way. The one I did wit the Ratt riffs at NAMM the mids were at about 1 or 2 o'clock. The video in this thread the mids are at noon. I don't play with scooped tone and never have. And bass heavy, eh? The Bass in this video is at 11 o'clock! Way less than the bass on any 80s sounding modded Marshall.

Not sure what you are hearing...I will say it again: If I switched to a Superstrat tuned standard with the exact same tone settings I could cop an 80s tone just by playing differently and not touching a thing on the amp from the tone in this video. Guaranteed.

Just for the record, I'm not a hater, I actually like tight riffage (your clip was really tight) too being a fan of the older Megadeth ,Metallica, Annihilator and newer stuff like Nocturnal Rites or In Flames etc.. I just happen to like the cock rock for my own personal tones or even further back, the crunching up JTM45/plexis. I also get what you are saying about my perception of the mids. I can play my amp with a TS and start chugging and it will sound pretty agressive and mean. Throw in a thick bass track and some tight double kick and I'll complain about my own tone being scooped lol. I think people are just too scared to ask someone to demo this amp with a Kramer and a JB soaked in delay is all. Your point is taken!

I found some for 249$... now we're talking. I might try to get one shipped to the border and go pick it up. Will be a while before Canu-Kia (Canada) starts selling these anywhere or stocking them for that matter. Also have to give them kudos for sticking in an effects loop in a low watter. Well done Randall.. well done. I am jonesin' to try it with the gain down and master volume up. Apparently it is designed so that when the master is up, the gain becomes somewhat of a volume. Interesting. If the manual is actually correct, those could be my crunch tones right there.

Hi any one how can help my ¿?¿? i buy a randall diavlo 45w and sound great is the sound i was searching whit some pedals sound exactly like revocation, but when i try to record the amp sound horrible i try like 20 mic position and the seam results, what dou you think its the problem ?¿¿? do i have to buy another interface¿? thanks for reading this.
