I saw these guy back in the day, they were good

Winger's the type of band that you would secretly like but never admit :lol: :LOL:
 
I saw these guys a number of times back in the day and was always blown away musically. They still sound great and nailed it in the this clip. I'd love to catch them live again, hopefully they'll be playing somewhere close to me!
 
Winger is one of the best live bands I've ever seen...unbelievably tight.
 
Is this from their new DVD. I went to the show at the Galaxy in soCal. They were filming for their DVD. That night they were so tight and they sounded really heavy. The other guitar player in that band was tearing it up that night. Reb is a given.

Nice solo! That's one of the more noteworthy guitar solos from that era. Reb did an instructional video in the 90s that no one saw-it's awesome. Maybe it's on Youtube somewhere.

I've been emailing you man! What up? I just got a '77 Marshall slant cab with G12M blackback speakers. Not sure if they're 55hz or 75hz. Bought it for $499 + shipping. :) I have a question to the seller now to see the bass resonance of the speakers.

That was awesome...I saw them not more than a year ago at the HOB in Cleveland. They were tight as hell, and Reb Beach is a bad mofo. Of course, the first freaking thing I did the next day was hunt down and buy a CAA OD100 amp. It never did quite sound like Reb's tone... :doh:

Saw them live during the In the Heart of the Young and Pull tours. I have been a Reb Beach fan forever. He is mainly known for his tapping style but I have always loved his phrasing. I have their newest album. My treasure from these guys was a studio video mad by the band when recording the Pull album. Cool solo outakes in the studio.

Reb just flat out brings the pain, I should just quit playing now.

This album has been in heavy rotation for me since I bought it on cassette when I was in the 7th or 8th grade or whenever it came out. I remember takin massive amounts of shit for it a few years later, because I didn't worship Nirvana :jerkit:
 
One of the few bands that doesn't tune lower so the vocalist can still hit the notes! Kip is super talented composer. They rock!
 
Going to see them on Friday :dunno: but its because on of my teacher's bands is opening for them ;) But I'm sure Winger will be good too.
