Hopefully he keeps the pinch harmonics to a minimum and keeps BLS out of it. (No disrespect to BLS)
 
Ozzy is not getting any younger
I would not be surprised if the new cd
With Zakk in 2018 is the last one
And they will go in and do a classic OZZY record
 
Who gives a shit? Ozz and Sharon should have called Jake E Lee and offered him whatever he wanted to reunite. That's the only thing Ozzy fans would pay good money to see these days. Zakk was done 10 years ago
 
Honestly, I'm a little Meh bout this.

On one side, i'm sitting here thing, ya know what Zakk has done so many discs with BLS that he has to have gotten it all out of his system, maybe this is a return to NRFTW/NMT era of music. then I think R.I.P. Lemmy, and get back to reality.

on the other side, Its all Business, I'm sure zakk needs a bit of help promoting his brand, and what better way than to make news being back with Ozzy.. :poke:
 
I'd kill to hear a return to NRFTW and NMT era stuff, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I have nothing against Zakk Wylde, but I think it would have been cool to see Jake E. Lee back with him after all these years. Regardless of whether or not Ozzy is any good anymore, he's still a big name, and Jake would have gotten some much deserved recognition for it.

Yeah unfortunately Ozzy's guitar playing fans still may not outnumber his music buying fans and they probably don;t care which guitar player is on the stage.

I personally would love Jake to be involved and see a whole BATM/TUS tour!
 
based on interviews I've heard, it doesn't really seem like Jake would be that interested in re-joining Ozzy. He already said if there was to be another Red Dragon Cartel record it won't be like the first, "more progressive, more interesting to me" i think was the quote that stood out.

then get into the business side of things, Do you think Sharon would actually offer Jake a reasonable contract?

If, i'm being honest here. As a person with a Ozzy era Zakk Wylde Tattoo, I can't see anything great coming out of this. I would have thought offering the spot to say George Lynch would have been much more musically interesting. based on his last release, its not a far stretch at all.

Zakk NEEDS to do another Pride and Glory album. BLS is fucking terrible monotonous garbage and Ozzy is 25 years past me giving a flying fuck. I was happy Gus G played with him because he brought back some shred and classical elements but I dunno, this news is just meh.
