Hi,

I have been looking up and down for one of these fuckers and well....failure. With that said I am going to have one built. My question. Which type of body/wood? Neck? Nonetheless I have wanted one of these since my older brothers were watching G Lynch roast his boots on a Volcano playing just got lucky.

Lynchs guitars were always maple on maple. Im not sure if thats your question tho? If your question is about who to source the parts from, ive had good luck with Warmoth.

Rare graphic.....he didnt play it long.
Get a old skool Kamikazie 1..........and hang it up. Those guitars rules.

But yes...Maple body .....maple neck. Cant lose.

I read that the kamikaze was based off of this guitar. Could be wrong on that. I play LP's and this would be a wall hanger that I look at myself playing in the mirror once in a while :D !

I don't think Lee will do that headstock anymore though...

Nice man.....I love Les Pauls....but they are a once in a while guitar for me.
Loving the Lynch ESP'S

There was a run of Charvels done in that graphic, around 10 years ago. Seem to remember there were some issues with the run though, and haven't seen any for sale for ages..

I wanted one real bad too. I remember reading about all the issues with that run. People wanted stupid money for them too.

Thee original Tiger was a 13 pound maple body he built.

He still has the body and plays it but its had 30 years of differnet necks.

Its been painted a zillion times.

I saw him on the Chains tour 1982 in a small club.

He was playing outta 5 4x12 cabs and 3 100 solid state Randall heads that he helped design.

Nobody knew they werent tewb.

Was most Awesome.

Only other loudest show i saw was Van Halen on Diver Down, insane decibles.

If u were to tell me i could have one of Georges Tiger Charvels in the 80's if i cut off my right arm youd be looking at a one arm man.

Top 2 are a different guitar than the infamous 'Tiger', aren't they?

Not sure, but I think the mesh shirts in the top two pics are the same.

Yes, they are different (the guitars), and to the best of my knowledge it's been painted once...

Germany, 1982' with Juan Croucher [Ratt] on bass before Pilson.

AB, 1985, {Kramer guitar}.

Top 3 were Custom Charvels [which he had several].

Thee Tiger was a one of a kind and if i remember right the story goes it was in a cargo hold at 30,000 feet in sub-zero temp right after he had it painted on the way to Germany for a tour.

Thats how it got the check finish.

Paulys right.

I dont think George has ever had a guitar i didnt like.

DOKKEN and these guys def have earned their place in the RRHOF [if its about rock] more so than rap artists.

They had the world by the balls a long time and have made some great music.

There was something different than the average hair/metal thing when it came to harmony/melody IMO.

Rawkin with DOKKEN ...

You're right about 99.9% of the paint cracking story...they were on their way to record the first album with Dieter Dirks in Germany when the paint cracked, not going on tour...other than that, I agree with everything else you said.
