I think it's pretty awesome, but I like that style trem a lot.

There was a thread on this guitar a week or so ago.

I don't like it at all. Fender headstock on an explorer. No, just no.

Yeah that headstock just kills it for me. I'm not liking it at all.

We were talking about it last week here and also I was discussing it on usacharvels forum, which is filled with the most rabid knowledgeable Charvel folks. I thought it was pretty cool, but most said they wouldn't pay more than $1500 or so for it since it is almost impossible to verify the guy's story. It may just be a parts guitar someone assembled...

+1 I do like how deep the cut away is though :D

I love the strat headstock on an explorer with a vintage brass tremolo - pure old school Charvel.

I had something similar a few years back but all Dimarzio

Wasn't the Dimarzio stuff and early Charvel the same? I know Dimarzio didn't manufacture guitars. I'm pretty sure those early Dimarzio guitars were Charvel parts. Nice guitar. I love all things early Charvel.

1500? A guy can grab a good used Gibson explorer for half. Granted I'm not a charvel guy, but I'd take a gibby over that pretty easy. Especially a Gothic explorer.

That is friggin' awesome - just as good as the one with the Charvel logo if you ask me...

Yes, clearly you are not a Charvel guy.

I'd be curious to know if the scale was standard explorer or strat length (24.75 or 25.5)?

Except a significant portion of them are all the same guy...that site completely lacks any integrity.

It actually looks fake to me. Can somebody show me another pre-pro neck without a skunk stripe? It's not a 100% foolproof indictment since there were oddballs that left the factory, but I've never seen one that I recall.

Haha Steve

I like it. The problem is without a COA or original receipt how can you tell if this is legit? Any Charvel guitar with a Fender headstock hold more value than a pointy headstock.

I guarantee that is 25.5"
