Still on the Greenback speaker. First impressions are positive. Definitely has it's own sound. Boosted with a Maxon OD808x.

These clips are just off the cuff trying to translate the amp. Forgive them haha This amp does love boosts but I was surprised how well I was digging it with this speaker straight in.

Just set up the 50 watt Modern Classic. I did have my tech add a variable negative feed back and depth. Straight in through a 1971 Greenback, not sure the Greenback fits the amp? This is an older head. I think from 2015.

I don't know the specifics to the build of Celestion speakers but all the older Mesa V30s have a machined back piece. I imagine this the outer of the pole piece. I recently picked up a 2021 Mesa cabinet and it had cast back piece. I couldn't find a stamp on the cone but this speaker is still...

Haven't been a fuzz player but recently picked up Chase Tone Fuzz Fella and am surprised at my first test with it and a Silver Jubilee. It can get nasty but still kind of tight tone. Anyone else get into that nasty tone? What fuzz pedals do you like?

Been beating Tonex to the ground with captures. I love my amps but Tonex can realy nail the recorded tone and feel. What could change your mind?
