This is a really resonant and vibrant sounding guitar! Both acoustically, due to the chambered/semi-hollow body, and electronically, thanks for Suhr’s SSV pickups! The neck is super comfortable and fast playing as well. It looks gorgeous as well with the seafoam green finish, but it just really...
For some, Buckethead can be a bit much; a bit too noodly, lacking on coherency in a song.
I am not one of those people. If the intro is not to your liking, trying hanging in until the solo comes in; there is plenty of it to go around.
Cross-posted from TGP, but I mean, who wants to type things out twice?
So! I've been eye-banging this guitar from Scott/Jet City for well over a year, hoping it would wait around until I was in a spot to buy it, and my day came up; on the way with Fed Ex! I'm super excited to get my hands on...
So, I travel a LOT with Uncle Sam. Historically, I've used a recording interface (right now, a Focusrite Scarlett 2I2) into plugins, typically Guitar Rig 5, although I've tried some others lately with varying levels of success. To me, all have fallen a little short on the feel front; all seem...
Gents,
Inbound, we have an EBMM Axis Super Sport with MM90s and a trem:
I had an Axis with MM90s previously, before I knew shit about guitars. Played great, sounded great, and stupidly let it go. This one above was purchased through GC's used site, from the GC in the Scranton, PA area...
Gents,
For a long time, I've been disappointed in the quality of headless guitars out there. I travel quite frequently with the Army, and I'd like a guitar that I could build to my specs, partscaster style that isn't A) built from plywood like a Steinberger Spirit or Hohner, B) built by a...
Hey gents, I'm an hour north of Nashville, and I need a reputable amp tech to check out my 2203 and Tremoverb so I can get ready to sell them. Any TN/KY residents with recommendations?
Thanks!
Holy crap! Just listening to this album again for the first time in years, and with fresh ears, there is some really, really cool stuff going on besides the normal shreddery. One of his best, for me, with To The Core and Out of Nowhere. Whaddaya think?
Gents, it's been quite a while since I had a NGD, but this one is a little different from my normal fare, its a....a.....
HAMER!
First Tune-o-matic, first set-neck, first LP-alike in general, so we'll see how it goes, but I'm super excited! The switch position is way out of the norm for...
Holy Shit! Think today the wife and I bought our first house, in scenic Oak Grove, KY. It's in the Ft. Campbell area...real quick commute to work, got a good deal on it, I think. Still have to close, but the owners accepted our offer today, so here shortly, it will be NHD! I'm pretty stoked...
I've been interested in learning about this bridge since I first read about it:

Have you tried it? What do you think?
There, I've said it! :D
I purchased aDA through Amazon last night (I hate apple so iTunes was off limits! :D ) and it kicks serious ass. Great chops and playing, righteous tone, and the songwriting trips through all different styles...what's not to love. So, thanks for putting out one hell...
Hey guys, getting ready to sell my Marshall 2203 and Mesa T-verb...I want to take them to a tech before I sell them to make sure they're in tip-top shape. Anyone know of a good tech in the Killeen/Austin area?
As some of you know, I'm not in country right now, but I saw this guitar on TGP being blown out, and I couldn't pass it up:
here are the stats from the original owner:
Body: USA Custom Guitars alder in thin trans white finish
Neck: Maple in clear satin
Fretboard: Pau ferro with 10-13"...
I have a Tonestyler installed on an HSS guitar, with SD vintage rails and a blues trembucker. The Tonestyler is also connected to a 25k pot that rolls off the frequencies specified by the tonestyler position. Basically, I'm finding that when the tonestyler is bypassed, things are too bright...
I'm about to hit the road again, and for me Steinbergers are the ultimate travel guitar. I'm currently scouring Ebay for parts and such, but I'm still on the fence about pickups...I was thinking about maybe two cool rails and a custom, or perhaps little 59s or classic stack plusses. What say...
Hey guys, read this over on the Axe-FX forum...

Short short version, Mike needed to use an FX unit, used an Axe-FX, had a good time. It means absolutely nothing, just a neat story.
Seriously, the guy knows how to put guitar players up to the forefront of his albums. He's had on his albums:
Brett Garsed
Steve Lukather
Zakk Wylde
Yngwie Malmsteen
Al DiMeola
Billy Sheehan
Steve Stevens
Brad Gillis
John Petrucci
John Sykes
Slash
Tony MacAlpine
The guy knows how to pick...
Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase a handgun for myself and my fiance to shoot, both at the range and for home defense. We've both shot 9mm berettas (basically m92f), and I'm looking at 9mm, 10mm, or .40 for stopping power as well as penetration, plus I want her to still be able to shoot it. Am...
