I’m not a big fan of the songs but fuck these solos Richie played are perfect. What’s some other albums you don’t like but fucking love the guitar playing ? This album is one i return to just for Richie
His solos and playing are a perfect balance of shred and soul on this album . I actually paid $100 for the tab book for nostalgia and jamming .One of absolute favorite players! And his voice is incredible IMO also.
It’s my fav leads ever ever . He just was perfectThis is one of my favorite albums ever and the one that got me inspired to start playing guitar. Kotzen was absolutely on fire here
Hell ya ! I remember being in aweHis solo on the song "Blind Faith" is fuckin ridiculous
It’s always on in my house . I love the songs at this point but at first I had to get use to Brett’s preacher vocals on this album . The riffs mutate beautifullyOne of the best albums of my lifetime, this album is the reason I started to learn hybrid picking back in the day to play certain sections of the album. The solos on the album are crazy but a lot of the riffs are fun to play as well, I’ve been sound checking with Body Talk for 20 years now. Amazing album.
Yeah, it’s definitely a different album for them, I remember getting it when I was 11 not knowing about cc leaving or anything and I fell in love with it while everyone else seemed to hate it, glad I stuck with it.It’s always on in my house . I guess my only problem was Brett’s vocals at times . Richie should have sang it all lol . He said that would have been his solo album basically even if it wasn’t a poison album . He definitely was musical direct . Also it’s cool watching him play the old hits liveYeah, it’s definitely a different album for them, I remember getting it when I was 11 not knowing about cc leaving or anything and I fell in love with it while everyone else seemed to hate it, glad I stuck with it.
His side of the story was that Rikki and the girl were broken up by the time it happened. Kotzen ended up marrying herHis only weakness as a " hired gun" is that he used his " gun" on Rikki's girl at the time. Bit of a douche move but Kotzen always came across as a stud with an immense talent so I can see where he might have slipped up by 80's band standards when the booze got flowing.
I get but grew on me big timeI’ve never heard this Poison stuff with Richie.
I love his playing and singing, but I simply cannot listen to Poison. Don’t care how good the leads are.
His playing is special on thisGreat album from them!
