You are a Rock God, but you need something else to stomp on beside mere Mortals..

What Pedals are your must haves??

must have? Tuner

Really want on a lot? Boss SDE-3

Otherwise I don’t give a shit, my amp doesn’t need a boost. I can run it that way if I want, but I’d rather have one super good sound than two compromised tones.

Depends on if you mean pedal types or actual pedals

gate, ods, a wobbler, and a nice delay

generally with my rig these days that means

isp deci-mate/LWA Tannhauser, some combo of LPD Sixty 8/Seventy 4, Griffin IPA, KSR Eros, LPD Tidal, electric mistress and a Flight Time in the loop

the important parts that I can't live without are one of the ODs, and especially the Flight Time and the Mistress though. The flight time is seriously the best sounding and best performing delay pedal ever invented, and ill fight about it

As wayne so kindly made me the Hunky Dore, I can replace the multiple ODs with one pedal now, which is going to streamline it further

MXR Phase 90
Boss SD1 or TS-9 (would be totally fine with a JHS Bonsai)
A Boss delay

Not what I expected so far.
Mostly destruction levels of Distortion!

Distortion pedals are rarely the best sounding option for melting faces with high gain tones :dunno:

You can certainly get there that way, but there's a reason people gravitate towards amps that have that sound and then clean it up with volume knob rather than the reverse

I live in both worlds, and therefore require multiple rigs

A good analog delay. Right now it's the Walrus Audio ARP-87.
JPTR FX Warlow
Option 5 Destination Phase
MXR Sub Machine
Minotaur Sonic Terrors Evil Eye MKIII

The only thing better than amp gain, is *boosted* amp gain. :P
SD-1, TS9 or variant (currently EQD Plumes), Phase95.

SD-1 or variant and nice delay…..that’s it. Right now it’s a Griffin Super Drive (or Keeley Super Rodent) and a Boss SDE-3.

I hate MXR pedals with a passion. They ALL suck the life out of the tone and kill high end…..despite several of them claiming true bypass. And all of their modulation pedals bleed through when bypassed.

Klon Centaur & Highwind Phalanx gate is all I really need (sometimes not even)

Borrowing now a Griff Tone Ripper that may become a must have for me too later on at least with some amps

My ‘80’s Great British Spring Reverb is unfairly majestic sounding, but not a pedal (a huge pipe lol) and can still live without it, but man can it make one’s clean tone 11/10

If I played the right styles the ‘70’s Foxx Tone Machine would be another must have. Best fuzz ever to me
