For that I would use normal CA glue/ superglue. I like the bsi instacure+. I’m not the biggest fan of super 77 or the spray stuff.
Wilson art h2o is great but probably not for your application since it has to dry and be reheated.
Outside of what others have mentioned, I would highly recommend trying the SIR39 mod. It’s another gainstage but still sounds like a Marshall and pretty easy. Jason has a good how to video.
And if you don’t mind hacking up your chassis, I’d try putting a bunch of stuff on switches. Also...
Do you have a schem for the mod?
I would do two things, see if the gain pot/ other pots affects the buzz. And second pull v1, fire up the amp and see if the issue persists.
Also is it a low pitch buzz or high pitch whistle? Anything like that
They both sound fine, but boy that 1959 is lazy. $1000+ for some diodes on a switch and a master volume is retarded.
Marshall seems to have a phobia of putting 4 preamp tubes in the 2203/1959. Put it on a switch and give the people what they want.
I have a feeling they’re gonna use the current mark transformer and change the channel switching from ldr’s over to relays and we’re gonna get a meh recreation. Or try to “fix” some of the issues w the original 2c and end up inadvertently making a mark 3.
That said I hope to god they offer a...
I drove around 5 hours round trip for my JMP half stack and around 8 hrs round trip for my mesa mark 3 half stack. Both were kinda holy grails at good prices. JMP was stock w matching cab and the mesa was a no stripe w a matching EV cab in white. I may have also driven 5 hours round trip for nos...
If you’re in Cleveland, maybe reach out to gutiar riot, they’re good dudes and might be able to do consignment or point you in the right direction.
I don’t need gear right now but I’d buy stuff from you just to spite GC lowballing people.
I’d also add… look for something brick. Houses with vynl siding leak an insane amount of sound. Your much better off with brick. 2nd, a house with newer windows is gonna be better. Old windows leak a ton of sound.
That being said it’s still probably going to be too loud. I’m a good 200 yards...
Maybe throw it in the freezer to shrink the metals. I would think as it thaws the outside would expand in size and the inside would stay shrunk. And allow it whatever’s in there to pass.
