Do the 2x12s do the same thing?
I like them better surprisingly. They are partially open back. Much easier to hear not being as directional as 412’s. Little less thump, but in a band mix they work pretty well for me. Downtuned metal etc might not work so well.
I find 412’s work good on deep stages where you can get out in front far enough. Otherwise the 212’s with the semi open back fill the room better.

Hey man, let me help you out....I'll lift that Marshall one into the back of my truck for ya :D

Wish I could! I sold them all and downsized to a Mesa Express 2x12..... Which isn't fitting the bill and I'm looking for another 4x12. That Marshall was pretty sweet. It was a 1960AX loaded with Greenbacks. Not quite my sound, but still cool.

Not mine, but the stack I ended up buying for my daughter last week for her to gig/jam with.
We put new tubes in it yesterday and mixed a couple sets of speakers until she liked what she liked
Was fun teaching her what little I know and spending time together and jamming after all of that ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Old photo pre mark iii coliseum. The Marshall on top is (was) a stock 71 superbass I rescued but sold for vet bills. A Nick Aldrich has since replaced it.

I would like two more cabinets. Load one with eminence legends and the other with G12H30 70th anniversary’s.
