I just had a gear advisor tell me I can’t use the Friedman vertical 2x12 with my Little Sister because the head is 20 watts and the cabinet is 120 watts so the head won’t supply enough power and it won’t work.
Did you set him straight? I used to run my Blackstar 5W head through a 412 and it sounded great.I just had a gear advisor tell me I can’t use the Friedman vertical 2x12 with my Little Sister because the head is 20 watts and the cabinet is 120 watts so the head won’t supply enough power and it won’t work.

Don’t they have some sort of basic knowledge test? It’s like hiring a carpenter that can’t measure. It's not Seeetwater, as much as it is the gear advisor.
You can’t be because 50 watts won’t supply enough power.So that’s my problem… I’m running 50w amps into 2 600w Redback cabs

Still gonna be a long way to the top though, especially when you're still 50 watts short of greatness.Xir is right, you need minimum a 50 watt head to rock n roll

It'd be even cooler if the speaker was mounted in the accessory compartment of your guitar case like they used to do.Not when I run it through a 10 watt 8 inch Jensen
