Millions of scientific studies and papers are published every year, the government isn’t signing off on them.

I should add that in addition to the health concerns there is controversy because the fluoride added to the water supply is an industrial by-product that if not purchased as an additive it would otherwise cost money to dispose of. You can easily see how conflicts of interest might arise.
I remember them having us gurgling fluoride when I was in the 1st grade in 1976.
 
Call me crazy but some toothpaste’s will make me sick and actually vomit. Not all the time. Some have no affect at all. Maybe it’s just a morning thing…hell I don’t know.
 
All these poisons lower your life expectancy.

So, do you try to avoid them or let the gobernment tell what is an "acceptable" amount?

I agree. I don’t drink fluoridated water. I do probably use fluoridated toothpaste I guess but I’m not eating the shit so….

For everyone's reference the EPA drinking water cert. manual lists 4 ppm as the maximum contaminant level (MCL) for fluoride.
