It's all I really want and useSame, i would buy a simple handwired head like this all day every day as long as it had 8 and 16 ohm outputs instead of the godawful stock fender ones

How does the Blackbird sound with the amp cranked up? I have heard those can be on the dark side. You're using a closed back cab I assume?

Fusion, would you consider making a couple of these builds for sale?
A timmy plus that circuit is such a classic.
How do you like that maxon analog delay? I loved the old ibanez ones in a similar enclosure
Has it occurred to you that maybe some of the guys in your bands might want one of those amps too?Unfortunately, no. I just don't have the time with the three bands I'm in...
You should put a power amp in jack on your Twin head so that you can plug in your FM9 also.Had a lot of extra parts, so I bought a few more to complete this clean amp...

But those screen grid wire wounds
look wrongfully placed on the tubes.
Maybe I'm stoned
Well, speaking as someone who went from a '73 SF Twin Reverb to a '74 SF Princeton Reverb, for the sole purpose of tackling a good surf/60's tone, the PR does it a lot better IME. I did replace the crappy Oxford speaker with an Eminence Legend years a go, to give it a more balanced tone. When I first read 'Twin Reverb' I thought dang people can't give them away anymore meanwhile Princeton Reverbs are ridiculous prices and they're 1/4 of the amp a TR is.
They just don’t sound the same. Yeah a twin is a “lot more amp” for less in the current market, but louder and cleaner isn’t necessarily what everyone wants.Well, speaking as someone who went from a '73 SF Twin Reverb to a '74 SF Princeton Reverb, for the sole purpose of tackling a good surf/60's tone, the PR does it a lot better IME.
