Fuck American Healthcare and Insurance

My wife, who has been in a lot of pain with bone on bone in her right knee for a few years, just got denied by our insurance for knee replacement surgery and she was told a maybe if she does a month of PT they might reconsider. She’s done PT before, taken numerous shots, the last ones were meant to be then”if these don’t work, surgery is the next step” shots. She’s been so excited to get it done and the Orthapedic insurance people just called her and broke her with this bullshit news. I know for a lot of you guys, you know how it feels when you see your Wife just break into tears and you want to kill the person who’s responsible, but it’s just a bean counter hidden away in the swamp of an insurance company who you’ll never know or be able to talk to.
They just fucking crushed someone who is desperate to regain some quality of life and not be in pain anymore. Aetna can just go fuck itself. I’m so angry about this right now but it”s my Wife who has to suffer. Fuck this country’s healthcare rip off and fuck Republicans for forcing it to stay this way.
 
My wife has Signa and an $8000 deductable meaning $8 grand out our pockets each year before they pay anything.
I just got a $158 dental bill today from a vist 3 months ago which was suppose to be covered.
Yes until they take the money out of politics & heathcare its TANGO UNIFORM.
One of our cats had 7 kidney stones surgically removed from his bladder 2 weeks ago = $2000.

It’s not forced on anyone but is there for people who were fucked without it. But I hear the Fantastic beautiful Republican healthcare plan is only 2 weeks away, for 8 years now. So fuck them. Healthcare for profit is a travesty in a developed nation.
 
Thank Obamacare. Greatly accelerated the for profit model. Also thank the insurance companies for further exacerbating the rising costs. Some of y’all voted for this. 🙄
 
Obamacare didn’t creat the, for profit healthcare nightmare we’ve endured for decades. But Republicans have no plan, no vision, no fucking idea to reign in the corrupt insurance industry. It should illegal for an insurance company to over ride the decision of a Doctor, in good standing who is caring for the patient. Even if it’s a matter of getting a 2nd Doctor who concurs with the first Doctor. You’re paying for the coverage, they shouldn’t t be allowed to say no on medical decisions for people.
 
I'm sorry to hear about your wife's situation. Usually if it is bone on bone they cannot keep putting it off. A friend on mine needs his done but the orthopedic doc says he can't get the insurance company and he still has the so called (good insurance from his employer) to approve it because he still has some cartilage left so he has to keep getting the injections. or the gel.

I hope she can get something done......

Both parties serve the lobbyist's and 1%.... neither serves the American people any longer and haven't for a long time they are just dropping the facade now. Importing 30 million people that they stick on Medicaid has got to be great for the health care system in this country. At least we can ship another hundred billion to Ukraine and Israel and give about half a trillion dollars to MIC every year instead.

Ultimately I agree with you. I do feel the Dem’s try and at least do something, while the Republicans just wallow in base avarice of attaining power for power’s sake. But at the end of the day we’re under a Corpocracy and too many politicians, if not swayed by money are easily swayed by false economic arguments from conglomerates and Oligarchs about what’s best for the people. Even if one politician is above, even that nonsense, they’ll run into so much obstruction and opposition from within and without, anything they try will be killed or squashed.

Why is it the Republicans should be the ones responsible for fixing this problem?

Obamacare sent our system into corruption overdrive. Last time I checked, Obama is a Democrat. I believe he ushered in the insanity we currently live through. The insurance companies run everything, no question.

And I don’t disagree with you. It’s totally out of hand and broken and maddening to navigate. “We the People” take it up the tailpipe. The insurance companies run it all. This is a fundamentally flawed system.

Remind me why this is solely the fault of Republicans though. This key part of your argument eludes me.

This response smells of bias. Your vitriol should be focused on both parties.

Truly, hope your wife feels better. We should be doing better.
