Yeah people forget alot.
Most all your favorite folks have at some time or another apparently dated a young girl..it's almost a pre-requisite for fame. Young girls like older men with power or swag. Men like re-living their youth vicariously between a fresh set of cleavage. Always been a thing. Always will. As with everything else, it's a spectrum with extremes on each side.

i gotta check it out too, they were from MA and played here in CT all the time when they were starting, those first couple albums were jams but i havent paid much attention since then which is like 20 years now lol

Invictus is a good one too, a bit of a darker approach but imo best music they've done since Oncoming storm

i just listened to the old Unearth that sounds just like they did in the vfw halls back then and its just so different lol. this shit was my jam summer 01

Yeah listening back it is a lot different than their original stuff. That last one was just the only thing I've heard from them that made me say oh damn since mid 2000s
 
Can't speak for the former band members but I wonder what they were thinking?

I think before the murder for hire stuff AILD was the labels best selling band so maybe they all thought it was going to be a huge blow up come back or something but idk, I couldn't imagine that band doing anything great after that kind of nonsense.
