1961 Fender Brown Deluxe. My old man bought it when I was a toddler and kiwi'ed it black. I got it for my 13th birthday. It came with an Oxford, which he replaced with a Utah, which I replaced with a Cream 90. It also sports Black plates and a trio of Mullards currently.

I do not consider modded amps in the rare category personally, so I will not count those of mine. My personal opinion of my rarest, where rare is purely availability, is likely the Wigle Purplexi and Baron K88 DHG. You look in my signature as some other stuff classifies as rare, but those two are my rarest.

I had Aiken Sabre #008, nice amp.

Randall was in the midst of releasing some new stuff, but something must’ve happened?! Too bad, he’s a very talented builder.

I suspect he went back into engineering to get a more solid paycheck. At least that little I've seen of him suggested that.

I remember talking to him on the phone back in 1999/2000. He's a great guy, with lots of knowledge, and happy to share.

I don't know how rare these are, but I have owned a couple of Egnater TOL100s. One was from his earlier batches that he built, while the other was when Rocktron was selling them. Nice amps with four usable channels. (I recently picked up an IE4 preamp, but have only had time to try it out and make sure it works - no time to integrate it into my rack.)

Most of the rest of the amps I've owned have been fairly common Marshalls and Mesas.

Not the rarest amps on the Earth but I think I am the only one who had them in my country. Naylor is still here 😉

Masotti Monster...this is rare amp worlwide I think. If Soldano X99 and Masotti X100m have a baby...
And Masotti X3M + Slave 100 is quite rare too. 3channel - 9 tube preamp (each channel has separate path and tubes). Slave 100W is EL34 mono and most brutal poweramp I have heard.

I remember you from back then. Those amps are all badass. Say what you want about Doug and his terrible fashion choices..the man could build a killer amp. I always hope I can find a Rocca in the wild someday.

Wonder if he's still sponsored by Social Collision jeans

How does it sound ??? A quick review would be great if you don't mind !

Ah yea, I had an Engator Dual Tone -- that was a rare and interesting one. Just a fender clean channel, and a marshall gain channel, supposedly a joint venture with Dave Friedman back in the day. Torroidal transformer. Straightforward amp, sounded great but NMV
