I owned a Mesa Boogie IIC+ back in the mid 2000s. Loved it but didn't think it was heads and shoulders above the IV by any means. Here are a couple of clips I recorded of my IIC+. Let me know if you have any questions!

Please, just don't mention that someone waited for a new 2C+ for 40 years. Otherwise, some amp builder from Germany will use that as an excuse to extend his clients waiting time to an extra 36 years.

Pretty cool that it seems they didn't load it with Cab Clone and god knows what else, if that spec sheet is accurate.

Do these heads weigh only 39 pounds? The first time I went to move mine, it was so heavy I thought it might have been bolted to the little 1x12 it was sitting on at the time.

Well we know we're getting DRG, SimulClass triode, which is always popular even though not my personal preference. I wish they would include a pentode / triode switch but oh well.

I'm most curious / concerned about what the guts are going to look like. IOW like a guitar amplifier, or like a PC?

25W class A, doesn’t that sound more like pentode? The OG simul-class is 75/15W. So if 75/25W is correct for the reissue, they won’t be the same.
