You'll have to forgive me @VonBonfire I don't communicate through memes.
I can and have communicated every one of my positions with the power of sacred scripture - Jesus' word.

2 Timothy 3:16 (LSB)

All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness,

My 11 year old daughter and most Taylor Swift fans like to use memes though.

misrepresentation of Protestantism (not surprising from someone who believes the earth is flat).
Protestant's believe what the Bible teaches, that a man is justified by faith in Jesus alone. Not by faith in Jesus + mary or Jesus + veneration.
In Protestantism there is no "+" after the Jesus.

also, you posted 27 times above that you had no affiliation with the Catholic Church and now you use this meme to make your point?
So which is it? are you saying orthodoxy is Catholicism now?

Simple.

John 17:17 - 17Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.
2Tim 3:16 16All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be equipped, having been thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Heb 4:12
'For the word of God
is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. '

Luke 24:44 44Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

2Peter 20Know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes by one’s own interpretation. 21For no prophecy was ever made by the will of man, but men being moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

So the question for you is this - the bible says it is the word of God and the Truth. What standard of yours do you say is more authoritative?

on the Contrary. Let's just look at these "perks" you make fun of shall we?

These are the tenants of the protestant faith (basically what the bible teaches)

Perk 1 - we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ alone.
Perk 2 - we don't pay money to the clergy to purchase "indulgences" allowing us release from penalties for our "misdeeds"
Perk 3 - we didn't want the bible only in Latin so the clergy could be the only ones understanding it, we wanted it for all people - ya know freedom
Perk 4 - we didn't want the pope enacting penalties for behavior he deemed unworthy because Jesus has more authority than any man on earth.

fascinating indeed. I particularly like the "nowhere found in scripture part".
can you please show us in the bible where veneration is taught?
How about Mary's sinlessness?
How about the eating of actual human flesh and blood?
How about the selling of indulgences / buying your way into heaven?

I'll fix it for you
"hear me out, we get rid of scripture and replace it with the authority of men in robes and convince people through memes and elaborate liturgical drama's".

"oh and while we are at it, let's embrace cannibalism, give the church the ultimate authority of Jesus' word, worship mary and pray to dead men".

This is so idiotic.
Only Satan would be upset at the idea of the establishment of a multitude of Churches.
Praise God!!!! that so many Churches have been established!!!!

As I've demonstrated to you many times, there are differing opinions on 2ndary issues across protestant lines (just as there are amongst Catholics btw).

I like how every time I post an icon dude disappears like an angry demon.
correct and rightly so because -

The word "icon" comes from the Greek word eikon, which means "image" or "likeness"

4¶“You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.

I didn't read any more of your posts because we can't have a discussion. You continually equate catholicism with orthodoxy and then misrepresent a bunch of theological arguments that were settled 1200-1500 years ago. You don't agree with my theology but I agree with your "jesus alone" theology, because that is what orthodoxy teaches at it's core. You have the 2-2=4 down, but you don't have the fullness of the faith with the simplistic "jesus alone" that you continually ram home over and over as though that's the sum total of the Christian faith. You're still in the theological shallow end of the pool strumming cowboy chords that's good enough for you so I'ma let you swim and play kum-ba-ya on your acoustic. Be blessed brother.☦️☦️☦️

Those guys were sure patient with their tile work!
Some of the tile work and gold overlays are pretty incredible. A really cool place I found being built is People's Salvation Romanian Orthodox Church in Bucharest, the Romanian capital. It's going to have the largest church mosaic of any building in the world when it's finished, 18000 meters squared. Here's how it stands right now. For reference, it's about 400 feet tall without the cross which is yet to be placed. It dedicated to the ascension of Christ and St Andrew the first called apostle and can be seen when nearing the city from all approaches. The Christ icon below is 150 square meters of tile work. It should be pretty cool when it's done.

It's fine if you want to end the discussion, I'm more than sure many here would like to see this stop.
You've said your peace and I respect that, I'll now say mine.

"you continually equate Catholicism with orthodoxy" This is not accurate. I'm sure there are many things the two systems disagree on, your very testimony confirms that. What you are failing to realize is I never claimed the two were the same. We have been debating over specific things, and these specific things are embraced by both the Catholic's and Orthodox churches. Specifically the sinlessness of mary, veneration, transubstantiation and justification apart from faith alone. All of the above are embraced by your system and the Catholics.

"you misrepresent a bunch of theological arguments that were settled 1200-1500 years ago" - this is a vast overstatement and is subjective.

You can't agree with my "Jesus alone theology" and then subsequently say " I don't have the fullness of faith". - that is a direct contradiction.

"you continually ram home "Jesus alone" as if that's the sum total of the Christian faith" - seriously? So which is it? because you said above that you agree with my "Jesus alone theology" and now this statement contradicts that. Is faith in Jesus Christ alone (as scripture, clearly, 100% assertively teaches) correct or not? Eph 2:8-9 8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9not of works, so that no one may boast

In conclusion, carrying on this conversation with you has been difficult because you've done nothing but disrespect protestants and slander what it is they believe. Your initial posts were inflammatory and then you did nothing but respond in hypocrisy when your accusations were challenged. I had hoped to learn more about the orthodox system, but the only thing you have done is cause me to be completely opposed to it and leave with a bitter taste in my mouth. In addition, standing in support on your end has been a publicly proud satanist / luciferian and you would rather seek and encourage His support than myself, someone who holds to many things that you do. My heart truly breaks for that.
I think it clear that you do not know your bible as you should, and your ability to carry out thoughtful, reasonable, clear conversation is truly lacking. I do not wish anything negative towards you and hope that you will consider that there are many out there who believe that the Bible is Jesus word (as He said it was) and respect it, revere it and live by it. I am one of those people.
