For all your bluster about "scripture only" John 6 doesn't say or imply "symbolic" anywhere, so you are just adding your own words to scripture.

27who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
This sacrifice need not be repeated, it is final and complete.

The references you cite above about "eating my flesh and drinking my blood" are a representation of dying and being reborn.

Jesus was asked by Nicodemus in John 3, what He must do to see the kingdom of God. Did Jesus say " eat my flesh"? NO HE DID NOT
this is what he said.
