I’ve tried so many Suhr’s & TA’s (some really price ones as well) and just always found them sterile and many of them kinda choked sounding. They’re the exact opposite of what I find to be magical in a great instrument. Not at all the kind of guitars that inspire you to really listen and savor the notesVintage and good wood Gibsons of all shapes
Vintage charvel and Kramer

A couple of my best result partscasters
Suhr and TA play "well" in my experience and consistently so, but they pale in comparison to the magic of something like a unicorn level Gibson or a custom shop esp
Wow. What a beautyAny and all of my EBMM guitars.
This one in particular just does something to me when playing. It is nothing short of incredible in feel and tone.
I use it live all of the time!

What is your opinion about the japanese counterparts that were made 2008-09?My 86 Jackson Strat, maple board and factory OFR is my #1. Had it now for 2 years; it was a GC score that was listed as a Model 2. Lol. My #2 is a 2009 Charvel SoCal, USA candy plum; had it for a decade. Both play themselves, and have very good tone. Like a fav pair of jeans. I've probably had 4 other 2008-09 USA Charvels that were also amazing feeling guitars...every one of those were even better than the few custom shops I've owned, and better than the 4 83-85 Charvels I had. Love the 2008-09 USA run. Fantastic superstrats.
The MiJ were actually made in 2010-11; after the USA pro mod line shut down. The Charvels were going to continue being made there but the Tsunami destroyed the factory. What is your opinion about the japanese counterparts that were made 2008-09?
Yes sir, I own a 2011 in candy red. Fantastic instrument! The MiJ were actually made in 2010-11; after the USA pro mod line shut down. The Charvels were going to continue being made there but the Tsunami destroyed the factory.
Those are almost identical in most ways to the USAs; but had better rolled frets according to some. They also had a light finish on the necks that the USAs seem to have much less of....I've had 3. But, in the end I've had 5 USAs that are custom shop level in feel and tone. The MiJ that I've had seemed a little stiffer in feel. Killer guitars though..I just prefer the USA versions for those stated reasons.
This is the correct answerEBMM Majesty 6. I have a 2016, plan to get a new model from the current run.
My 1983 US HM Warlock plays itself.
Given it's a warlock, I assume magic was somehow involved.
