24.75" Suhr confirmed. 3x3 headstock. Pysched to see what it is. Something like a Jr. makes a lot of sense as John is a huge fan of those.

hmm very cool, i wonder if its based on the aura? lol if it is, i wonder if aura prices come down from the high heavens?

John has said he won't do a production run of Auras both to not diminish the collectability for the owners of the original run of 100, and he doesn't want to deal with Gibson's BS. It's likely tweaked shape-wise just enough to avoid a lawsuit and to make it less than 8k like the Auras. I'm pretty excited to see what he cooked up.

Very cool, I sold my aura several months back. Stunning guitar all around but it just got o be worth too much!

Can’t wait to see what this thing is! Do you have any details on specs? I’m not on social media so not sure what source of pic is! I posted it over on TGP to see if anyone might have more details

That pic was from the Suhr Instagram and Facebook pages. I don't know any detail of the specs, but we'll find out shortly!

I won’t have my amps at NAMM this year as Luxxtone had to cancel last week. They are doing a lot of community support for victims of the fires and decided it wasn’t the right time to do an event.

I’m going to get down there at least one day though and walk around.

How much quieter is this gonna be compared to, say, a V30, with sensitivity this low?

Is that for real? If so, that's bad ass. I'm guessing that's a joke - edit. looks like it is real! Pretty cool

couldn't see a price but it does concern me when the guitar world article compares what the built in attenuator does with the Boss Waza attenuator ... hope its no where near in that price range haha

NAMM 2025: “Increase and decrease voltage with volt by volt precision”: AmpRx launches Brownie – a voltage optimising power supply to make your tube amp perform at its best (and maybe help you finally nail Eddie Van Halen’s ‘Brown Sound’)

https://www.musicradar.com/guitars/...you-finally-nail-eddie-van-halens-brown-sound

The problem with most voltage regulators is that they only act as a static positive or negative adjustment. If the wall is outputting 120 and you drop it by 3 volts to 117 volts, and then the wall power spontaneously drops by 5 volts to 115 volts, well now the voltage regulator is outputting (115 volts - 3 volts) 112 volts.

If this Brownie thing lets you set a target voltage and it automagically adjusts itself to maintain that no matter what the wall is putting out… that is seriously cool.

Edit: makes me wonder if these things are also suitable for stuff like computer equipment, which also can be sensitive to voltage dips and spikes.
