I think that would be more reasonably understood as a promise to begin the process of ending inflation and making America affordable again, starting day one. If he can lead the country to prosperity and strengthen the dollar I think he will have a chance at making things more affordable. Inflation is a fed policy and really a requirement for the current economy. Regardless I think he's got an uphill climb and I put the odds of success as very low and I'm not sure what concrete steps he's taken to address this yet.

Bird flu.

And they’re the same here as they have been. They’re just trying hard to disassociate themselves and their preferred candidates and policies from the fact that everyone’s grocery bill doubled and tripled under them and their senile sock puppet.

I get bird flu, but they've been focusing on the price of eggs since last June with the occasional departure to substitute "groceries" for "eggs."

It does make sense though to pick one item that could potentially increase in price for the short term. Bird flu in, less supply of eggs, prices go up a little. Basic supply and demand. It's convenient to leave that part out so they can point the finger at Trump and go "look he didn't bring egg prices down like he promised! He's a lying fascist!"

Kinda familiar no ? Create panic and fear over a "Plandemic", eviscerate the president about his not taking it as seriously as he should, which eventually prompts him to start taking actions to save face. Shut down entire cities, pay people to stay home, write billions of dollars worth of government checks they can't cover, shitcan the economy and then blame it all on Trump.
