That being said, it's total bullshit that Trump didn't have anything to do with the inflation we experienced in 22-23. The inflation is a direct result of the pandemic policies and federal reserve actions in 2020-2021, which he is singularly responsible for.

Yes, without his signing that emergency declaration March of 2020, none of it would have been allowed to have happened.

He promised to cut egg prices day one? That would take some doing. But to your point I'm not sure what he has done to address the inflation issue. I'm not sure he can or really wants to do anything, as it's probably even beyond the Fed's control, short of hiking rates, tightening and sending the economy into a deflation, which would affect all asset prices and the economy itself. Ain't gonna happen and Trump wouldn't want it as he would be blamed for the "Great Depression 2.0."
